Polyvine has become a member of Made in Britain, a leading UK organisation representing British manufacturers, marking a significant milestone as the company enters its 40th year of business.
Founded in 1986, Polyvine has always researched, developed and manufactured its specialist water-based varnishes, coatings and decorative finishes entirely in the UK. This Made in Britain membership formally recognises the company’s long-standing commitment to British manufacturing, quality craftsmanship and transparency.
Family-run and independently owned, Polyvine is now in its third generation, with founder and Director Peter Wells still working hands-on in the laboratory alongside Managing Director, Ian Wells and the wider team.
“Manufacturing in Britain has always been central to who we are,” said Ian Wells, MD at Polyvine. “Joining Made in Britain in our 40 year is something quite special and we are extremely proud. It reflects our continued commitment to quality, innovation and our support for the UK painting and decorating industry.”
Polyvine supplies high-performance coatings to the professional painting and decorating trade, both in the UK and internationally, with all products developed and manufactured on site in the UK to ensure consistent quality, performance and sustainability.
