One of the important points of reference during the MOW furniture exhibition season in Ostwestfalen-Lippe, the Möbelzentrum Westfalen at Barntrup/Germany (Furniture Center Westphalia, formerly the Messepark Barntrup), is showing considerable growth year, according to event organiser Peter H Meyer.
For example, two Polish manufacturers have increased their exhibition space by 50% apiece – Forte boasts 1500 sqm, while Beso has extended its space to 250 sqm. According to Peter, developments such as this confirm the strategy of the Barntrup trade fair and exhibition centre.
The Möbelzentrum Westfalen offers exhibitors the opportunity to keep their exhibitions mounted throughout the year. It works as an exclusive sales and launch platform to Central Europe for furniture manufacturers from Germany and all over the world – focusing on the MOW season (16-20th September 2013), but also on the Partners’ Days (28-30th January) and Spring Orders period in May.
Besidesfamiliar exhibitors such as Demeyere, Finori, and Lio-Design, new names will be present, such as peterandthewolff, which fits well into the Happy Green Living segment of the show.
Regarding the exhibitors coming in September, Peter says: “At present talks are going on, but there is still enough space for newly interested parties.“ An updated exhibitor list will be announced at the end of August.
