Furnishing solutions manufacturer, Blum UK, has bolstered its partnership with children’s charity Ride High by designing and arranging the build of new furniture for the organisation.
Located in Milton Keynes, Ride High uses horses to transform the lives of vulnerable children. Around 120 children attend the charity each week, taking part in a structured learning programme to help encourage a healthy lifestyle. Time spent with the horses promotes confidence, responsible behaviour, respect and trust, and positive mental wellbeing.
With its UK head office also located in Milton Keynes, Blum UK has worked with Ride High since 2025, welcoming children to visit the beehives installed at its office gardens and supporting the charity through regular volunteering each week.
The latest gesture includes Blum experts creating four made to measure pieces of furniture to support the refurbishment of the charity’s changing room, where riding gear such as helmets, jackets and boots are stored.
Olivia Sugdon, CEO, Ride High, said: "The transformation of our changing room has made a huge difference. The bespoke furniture has completely changed how we use the space, making it much more organised, efficient and welcoming for the children, staff and volunteers who use it every day. Having dedicated storage for our riding equipment means everything now has its place, creating an environment that's easier to manage and far more inviting for the children as they begin their Ride High journey.
