Ligna surpasses all expectations for Cefla Finishing

Visitors to Ligna showed great interest in the innovations on display by Cefla, from J-Print 3D to Omnidry ovens, by way of Industry 4.0 and the increasingly in-demand iGiottoApp X2.

“This edition of Ligna,” Alberto Maestri, managing director of Cefla Finishing, comments, “surpassed all our expectations; it went even better than the previous show, which was very successful, in both quantity and quality terms.

“This upward trend is in line with a generally positive market, with well-informed customers offering good business prospects. The contacts with the Asian markets, eager to invest to improve their production processes through innovation, were particularly encouraging.”

“The reason for our success,” Alberto continues, “lies in our many innovative features in all the technological sectors we cover. We brought this innovation to the show and engaged in effective marketing in the run-up to the event, creating the right expectations, which we were able to confirm in real terms during the exhibition itself.”

All the many innovations Cefla Finishing displayed attracted the interest of the thousands of professionals who visited the stand of 1400m2 in hall 17, staffed by a close-knit international team. The J-Print 3D, the innovative system for creating 3D effects synchronised with digital printing, was particularly successful.

There were also positive comments for the new range of Omnidry ovens which Cefla says offers high productivity combined with outstanding flexibility and boasts the capability to process flat and curved panels of different thicknesses thanks to the Flexpro function and its capability for automatic variation of the tray pitch.

Demand for the iGiottoApp X2, the two-armed anthropomorphic robot – able to work in synchronised or unsynchronised mode thanks to trajectory optimisation software – was particularly high.

“Today’s success and the many product innovations presented at Ligna 2017 are the outcome of teamwork which began two years ago,” concludes Alberto, “at Cefla we work every day with the aim of becoming a Smart Factory in the present, not the future: for us, Industry 4.0 means connection and interconnection between the company’s various professionalisms, which constantly collaborate on products and technology.
