Leica Geosystems, part of Hexagon, has announced its attendance at W16, the UK’s only woodworking machinery and materials exhibition, from the 2nd-5th October at the NEC, Birmingham.
Known for its leading software solutions in the construction and manufacturing sector, Leica Geosystems will be showcasing two of its newly updated geospatial tools on stand Q905.
The Leica 3D Disto measuring and templating tool has been designed to capture and record distance, area, inclination and angles in 3D - allowing the user to measure complete rooms, walls, windows, structural connections or stairs from one station point. Newly added features, including a new CAD-Tool function and innovative Surface Scan will also be on display.
Visitors will also be able to experience the Leica DISTO S910 first hand. Featuring integrated Smart Base for P2P technology, the laser-measuring device allows you to measure in three dimensions from a single location. It also boasts Bluetooth Smart connectivity, Pointfinder with 4x zoom, real-time data transfer with WLAN and a 360° tilt sensor.
Demonstrations will be available throughout the four-day event.
