JJ Smith will be holding its annual in-house exhibition on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of April 2014, focusing on the latest manufacturing techniques and machinery for cross cutting.
Confirming its position as the 'go-to' company for cross-cutting solutions, and cementing its ability to provide solutions from the smallest pull over saw to the fastest CNC automatic saw, JJ Smith will have the most comprehensive line up of cross-cutting equipment that has ever been on show in the UK. All machines will be fully operational and, by prior arrangement, can be demonstrated cutting visitor’s own material.
Being showcased at the event for the first time will be the all new Elco Top 7 controller for the Stromab Matrix range of fully-programmable cross cut saws. The Top 7 is a real revolution in the concept of industrial automation, using the robustness and reliability of an industrial PLC. 'The revolutionary solution for automation' comes equipped with a colour 7" touch-screen widescreen display on the Linux platform. The innovative, operator-friendly control panel sets new standards in ease of use, increasing the speed and efficiency of the operation of the machine.
In addition to this, also on demonstration will be a number of other programmable/automatic and manual cross cut saws, including the Stromab CAT 1 high speed fully-programmable optimising / defecting cross cut, and the Stromab CT600 automatic push-fed cross cut saw for straight or angled cutting.
The Stromab Matrix F with in-built trenching/notching head is a heavy duty optimising upstroke cross cut and notching machine, designed for programmable and repetitive cutting and notching from standard and/or random lengths of timber.
The Comec TAC1 automatic hopper fed cross cut for straight or angled components is ideal for chair corner blocks / stair wedges etc. Other machines on display will include Graule precision radial arm cross cuts and trenching machines, along with positioning systems from Tiger Stop.
JJ Smith is proud to claim that it is the UK's leading crosscut supplier, with over 300 installations in the UK, and welcomes visitors to come along and see how the latest machinery can help improve productivity, flexibility, safety and profitability. Sales staff will be on hand throughout the exhibition to offer friendly advice and assistance in a relaxed atmosphere.
