Our esteemed colleague Michael Connolly sadly passed away on January 31st after a brief but serious illness. Michael was a very a capable journalist who handled the publicity affairs of several prominent companies in the woodworking, furniture production and signage industries.
Michael was a talented individual with his storytelling, mimicry and his unique way of singing his beloved Irish ballads. Michael was a kind and generous person who would always assist others less fortunate than himself, always giving of his time and ever-ready for good natured chat. Michael was also notable for his tireless charitable work.
In recent years, his output to us here at F&JP continued to demonstrate his professionalism, insight and sensitivity, as demonstrated by his ability to balance the client’s message and perspective while recognising the publisher’s requirements, Michael was a master of his trade.
Michael will be sadly missed by his family, friends, and colleagues.
