Leading KBB manufacturer and supplier, Hill’s Panel Products (HPP) has announced Jen Wilding as its new Area Sales Manager for the Midlands.
She joins the Oldham-based business from decorative surfaces distributor International Decorative Surfaces (IDS), just days after it announced its intention to file for administration, although Jen’s appointment pre-dates that development.
She says: “The HPP opening was brought to my attention by a mutual customer (before the announcement). Things happen for a reason, I believe.
“Business is about people and HPP is the epitome of a fantastic people organisation. Clients speak very highly of HPP, which is why this role attracted me. I’m very keen to make an impact, share in the success and become part of the HPP family.”
Before making the move to HPP, Jen had been working in sales for Staffordshire-based IDS for six years. She began her career in the KBB sector as a kitchen and bathroom designer for seven years.
Customers can expect to see and hear from her as early as next week.
HPP has been manufacturing and supplying board, doors, fittings and accessories for the fitted furniture industry, particularly kitchens and bedrooms, for the past 33 years. As well as its HQ in Oldham, it has a trade counter in Sheffield.
Jen’s arrival comes just a week after HPP announced it had appointed Darren Booth as its new national sales manager.
Describing herself as a golf widow to husband Ashley, the couple have an 18-year-old daughter Alesha, and Jen lists DIY, interior design and going to the gym among her interests.
