Hettich invests in growing UK market

Hettich UK has completed a £300,000 upgrade of its Salford headquarters, including a substantially enlarged showroom which will allow Hettich to show its furniture fittings ranges more comprehensively.

In addition to the 125 sq m showroom, the investment includes a 100m² training facility, which will give both manufacturers and installers the opportunity to train with dedicated equipment for applying Hettich fittings. Hettich UK has also substantially reconfigured its warehouse and packing line, while an external face-lift is the finishing touch.

“The UK is a very important market for Hettich and one in which we still expect to grow – this investment will enable us to service customers even better,” says Hettich UK MD, Tim Leedham.

“We have seen a number of manufacturers switching to our products as they seek to add value to their ranges. Overseas brands with a growing presence in the UK, such as Pronorm, Brigitte Küchen and Composit, have adopted our top-of-the-range ArciTech drawer system, which is set apart by enequalled running action and exceptional stability, while Nobilia and Häcker will be equipping their products with Sensys, the hinge with integrated Silent System.

More and more UK businesses such as DVD, Lemongrass, K Kitchens, Getley and Kingstown are taking similar initiatives with Hettich and we have invested to ensure that they and all businesses which place their trust in our service and products receive unrivalled support.”
