Excel London and British furniture manufacturer Burgess has today announced a new Official Supplier agreement that will see the two collaborating on a range of products, with a focus on the venue’s forthcoming 25,000sqm expansion.
Burgess, regarded as Europe's leading designer and manufacturer for the hospitality sector, will supply the high quality chairs and tables to be used within Excel’s forthcoming ICC Maritime Suite, a state-of-the-art convention and meeting space, designed to accommodate up to 7,000 delegates. With 37 individual rooms, dedicated registration and reception areas, and south facing terraces, the suite is one of the flagship spaces within the new development.
The British manufacturer has provided furniture for the hospitality industry for more than 60 years, with their success built upon quality craftmanship, complemented with great design and reliability. The company offers a wide range of products, including tables, chairs and accessories to make spaces on-point and functional.
Excel’s Chief Commercial Officer Simon Mills said: “With around 400 events a year being held at Excel London, the quality of our facilities is critical, and collaborating with Burgess will only help to further enhance our visitor experience.
