Dreams secures long-term home with acquisition of head office ‘Bedquarters’

Dreams has completed the purchase of its head office, Bedquarters, in High Wycombe, from founder Mike Clare. The move underlines the business’s financial strength and long-term commitment to growth.

Bedquarters has been home to Dreams since 2004, housing more than 250 colleagues across its corporate, finance, people, marketing, buying and merchandising teams. Securing ownership provides added certainty for the business and its colleagues, ensuring the company remains rooted in High Wycombe, the community where it has grown for over four decades.

The purchase, which took place in July 2025, also forms part of Dreams’ wider strategy to reinvest profits into strengthening infrastructure and supporting long-term growth. Alongside Bedquarters, Dreams operates its manufacturing hub at its Bed Factory in Oldbury, West Midlands, where our team of craftspeople produce over 1900 products every day.

Dreams also continues to operate a nationwide footprint of over 220 retail stores and a network of 12 delivery centres supported by 195 home delivery vehicles.

“Securing ownership of Bedquarters is a hugely exciting milestone for us, underlining our commitment to the future of Dreams," says Jonathan Hirst, CEO of Dreams. "I would like to thank Mike and Ed Clare for their support through this process and for their role in shaping Dreams’ journey to date.

"This purchase is another demonstration of the strength of our business, enabling us to keep investing in our people, our craftsmanship and our customers for years to come.”
