Deanestor, one of the UK’s leading furniture fitout specialists and turnkey contractors, has reported an increase in turnover, achieving £25.1m for the 2025 financial year, resulting in operating profits of circa £700,000.
Turnover in 2025 rose by £3.2m, up from £21.9m in the previous year, reflecting continued demand for high-quality fitted furniture and fitout solutions across the UK construction sector.
Sector activity and project delivery
Projects have been delivered and awarded across a range of key sectors, including healthcare, education, student accommodation and build-to-rent. During the period, Deanestor completed the design, manufacture, and installation of fitted furniture, including bespoke kitchens and specialist joinery, with a high level of repeat business from tier-one contractors and major residential developers.
Regional performance
In Scotland, Deanestor continues to perform strongly from its regional headquarters in Fife, particularly in the education sector, supporting a growing pipeline of school and further education projects.
“These results reflect strong, sustainable growth across the business and a healthy pipeline of secured and prospective projects," says William Tonkinson, CEO of Deanestor. "We are well-positioned to deliver further progress in the year ahead. Our performance is driven by the expertise and commitment of our teams in the East Midlands and Fife, from design and estimating through to manufacturing and on-site delivery. As a turnkey partner, we provide a fully integrated service, managing every stage from concept through to installation and handover, ensuring consistent quality and certainty on programme and cost.”
Manufacturing Investment
During 2025, the business invested in a new drilling centre to increase capacity and improve lead times, alongside the implementation of manufacturing analytics software to better understand time loss, improve machine utilisation, balance workloads, reduce energy waste, and drive continuous improvements.
Changes were also made to the factory layout to improve flow and efficiency, creating optimal use of space, while health and safety awareness was further strengthened across operations. All of the above resulted in a 30% increase in manufacturing capacity. Looking ahead in 2026, Deanestor is continuing this programme of investment with the purchase of a state of the art edge bander featuring the latest technology to maintain and enhance overall quality, providing continued confidence to customers.
Looking ahead, Deanestor is well-positioned to build on this momentum, with continued investment in its product offering and manufacturing capabilities, further strengthening its position as a leading UK furniture fitout and interiors specialist.
