Industry awards that highlight excellence in the furniture sector are open for entries until January 31st.
British Furniture Association’s Future of Furniture Awards has extended the deadline until the end of the month, giving businesses an additional two weeks to put forward projects focusing on sustainability and education.
The awards also recognise an individual who has gone above and beyond to champion sustainability in the workplace.
Judges for the Future of Furniture Awards include Amanda Moore, Managing Director of Achieve & Partners and Jo Little, a sustainability expert at Planet Earth.
Phil Spademan, BFA’s MD, He said: “Our Future of Furniture Awards are increasingly recognised as a hallmark of businesses that are forward-thinking and that recognise the value of innovation in sustainability and investment in their people.
“BFA members can enter any or all of the four categories and we’ve extended the deadline by two weeks to ensure member businesses have chance to take part.
“The Future of Furniture Awards are an opportunity to shine a spotlight on some of the excellent work around training and sustainability that is happening in our sector, and I strongly encourage all BFA members to enter.”
The award categories are Future of Excellence in Education, Future of Excellence in Sustainability Award, the Future of Excellence in ESG Reporting, and the Future of Excellence Sustainability Champion.
To enter, simply fill out a brief form and include a statement of no more than 500 words that demonstrates alignment with the criteria for each category.
Awards will be presented at a special reception at the BFA’s Furniture Component Expo, which takes place at the Telford International Centre on the 19-20 March, will be held to announce the 2025 winners.
