Leading woodworking machinery supplier, Dalton Wadkin, will be showcasing its exclusive range of Cehisa edgebanders at the UK’s only woodworking machinery and materials exhibition, W16, from the 2nd-5th October at the NEC, Birmingham.
As the new, sole distributor for the Spanish-edgebanding manufacturer, the W veteran will be exhibiting two, entry-level edgebanders at the four-day event: the Cehisa Pro 12 and Cehisa Flexy.
Ideally suited to the small to medium-sized manufacturer, the Cehisa Pro 12 – which will be featured on Dalton Wadkin’s dedicated panel-processing stand, G710 - takes panels of up to 60mm, making it an ideal option for those who need to work thicker panels. Other advantages include a 3mm corner rounding radius and a feed speed of eight to 14m per minute. The Cehisa Flexy offers an edging material thickness of 0.4-2mm and a panel thickness of 8-50mm. The compact machine can also be used on panels measuring as little as 120mm long.
A second stand, G610, will be dedicated to the Nottingham-based Supplier’s solid timber machinery and will feature live demonstrations throughout the event.
Machinery highlights will include Salvador cutsaws, Elcon vertical panel saws, Altendorf sliding table panel saws, Maggi multi borers, a Kimla CNC router and the latest additions to the Wadkin range.
Andy Walsh, sales director at Dalton Wadkin adds: “For us, Cehisa was the missing part of the jigsaw. The entry-level, fully automatic edgebanders fit well into our growing portfolio. W16 will give us a perfect opportunity to offer visitors a true understanding of the machines and their capabilities. We’ll also have our team of knowledgeable engineers on the stand to put the machines thought their paces.”
Registration for W16 and its co-located furniture components show, Elements, has now opened. To register your attendance to gain free entry into both events, visit www.wexhibition.co.uk or follow @W_Exhibition and @Elements_Expo on Twitter for the latest news.
