Having recently moved premises to Crossgar, Belfast in Northern Ireland, edgebanding specialist Camco is continuing to grow well, achieving strong sales and growth figures.
A cornerstone of the business is undoubtedly the company’s 3,000,000m edging stock holding available for next-day delivery, but also its strong bespoke service options courtesy of its on-site manufacturing capability.
Camco’s typical stock includes ABS, Melamine, Acrylic, Paintable, Laser and Veneers – but the company is not just a supplier, it also has the technology and know-how to create bespoke edging solutions by being able to slit jumbo to sizes that suit a specific width for a particular job. Camco has three machines devoted to this and has proved to be a valuable service for the Crossgar firm.
Camco director Olivia Phillips says: “We are currently doing well, we are growing asymmetrically into the market as compared to the general economy, which means we are pushing into our competition.
“As a relatively young business, we’ve grown significantly in recent years with a growth rate of 40% annually. Naturally, as we’re getting into higher numbers now, that growth is slowing however we are on course for around a 30% growth this year, which is still strong.”
