Callerton & Blum strengthen industry collaboration with new training initiative

Callerton hosted an exclusive event at the Blum Experience Centre in Milton Keynes this month, centred around collaboration and understanding.

Held on Monday, 3rd March, the two-part event brought together leading kitchen specialists, Callerton’s retailers, and key partners. The afternoon session provided an interactive experience, offering insights into kitchen innovation, the Willow Family Kitchen project, and the launch of Callerton’s ‘Right 1st Time’ initiative. The day concluded with a relaxed evening function, featuring speeches, wine tasting, and a fine dining experience.

At the heart of the event was the official launch of Callerton’s take on the Blum Experience and ‘Right 1st Time’—a pioneering training initiative hosted at the Blum Experience Centre. Developed to empower kitchen specialists, this programme will equip Callerton’s retailer network with practical tools, expert insights, and industry best practices. By leveraging Blum’s cutting-edge facility, the initiative aims to help professionals reduce errors, streamline processes, and drive profitability.

An immersive experience facility, Blum Experience Centre allows visitors to journey into seven decades of history and scores of new innovations across 11,500 sq. feet of interactive displays. Blum partners, such as Callerton, are regularly welcomed into the space to discuss future plans and collaboration.

With a particular focus on “Heritage, Legacy & Succession,” Callerton’s partners at the March event explored the rich history of collaboration between Callerton and Blum. The evening also celebrated retailers who have successfully transitioned their businesses across generations, ensuring their continued growth and long-term success.

With an original brief from Blum to create an inspirational space, accessible for all, which offers a solution to the everyday problems the consumer doesn’t always recognise, the event provided a very first look at the Willow Family Kitchen. A stunning multi-generational project that embodies innovative design and functionality, Callerton and Blum successfully developed a kitchen that showcases state-of-the-art storage solutions, accessibility features and design-led ingenuity.
