The British Furniture Association is reminding members to give their business the recognition it deserves and put time aside to get their entries together for the Future of Furniture Awards, ahead of the New Year.
Now in their third year, the accolades recognise outstanding work in four categories, the Future of Excellence in Education Award, the Future of Excellence in Sustainability Award, the Future of Excellence in ESG Reporting, and the Future of Excellence Sustainability Champion,
The awards are gaining increasing recognition across the UK, including a reference to the 2024 winners at the recent press event to mark the BFA’s change of name from the BFM - with the nominated Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Furniture Industry Group, Adam Thompson MP, present.
A special reception at the BFA’s Furniture Component Expo, which takes place at the Telford International Centre on the 19-20 March, will be held to announce the 2025 winners.
The deadline for entries is 17th January, 2025. There are no restrictions on the number of categories BFA members can enter.
“After Christmas, the deadline will quickly loom, so our message is to plan ahead and get the entries prepared in good time," says Phil Spademan, MD of the BFA.
“There will be a good deal of promotion and recognition for the winners, not just from the awards’ event, but throughout the year.”
