Having returned to Farnborough last month, Screwfix LIVE has cemented its position as one of the industry’s favourite events after a record-breaking 2024 show.
Bigger and better than ever, this year’s Screwfix LIVE welcomed more than 26,000 visitors over the three days - beating previous attendance numbers - with an increase of 40% on last year’s total.
Across the three-day event, Friday was the busiest day, with more than 10,000 visitors passing through the doors at Farnborough’s Exhibition and Conference Centre.
Visitors not only got the chance to see and experience more than 180 industry-leading trade brands with hundreds of live product demonstrations taking place, but they also had the opportunity to meet with celebrities including appearances from Harry Redknapp, Team GB weightlifter, Emily Campbell and Russ Cook ‘The Hardest Geezer’.
The show also saw the final of the hotly contested Screwfix Top Tradesperson 2024 take place. Marking the 15th anniversary of the competition, this year’s champion - Mohammed Rahman, a plumber from London, was announced live on stage at the event after impressing a panel of industry experts. Alongside the accolade, Mohammed also took home a prize bundle of tools, tech and training worth £20,000.
Matt Compton, Commercial Director at Screwfix said: “Screwfix LIVE is a real highlight in the calendar, and to welcome a record-breaking number of visitors to this year’s show was incredible. With exclusive deals, live demonstrations and celebrity guests, there was something for everyone. As with every year, the show’s success is a huge testament to the hard work of all involved in bringing the event to life, so we’re so thankful to our colleagues and vendor partners who made it possible. We’re already looking forward to next year’s show and how we can make it even better!”
