On the 15th October 2018, an article entitled ‘Help For Heroes Raises Over £1200 At The W Exhibition & Elements’ was distributed to the trade press on behalf of the W Exhibition and Elements event organiser, Montgomery.
The article, which included references to several companies that helped the charity raise funds during the woodworking machine and materials show in October 2018, incorrectly referred to Masterwood GB Ltd as Masterwood UK.
The organiser would like to apologise for this mistake and confirm that Masterwood GB Ltd supported Help for Heroes at the event by raffling off a giant dinosaur.
This, along with bucket collections and visitor donations to the charity’s Band of Brother craftsmen, helped the charity raise £1217 and promote awareness for its #TheForceForGood campaign.
All proceeds since the event have gone to Help for Heroes woodworking shops and recovery centres.
