Simon Brooks has been appointed managing director of the UK subsidiary for the Homag Group.
Based in Castle Donington, Homag UK is responsible for the sales and after-sales support for all machinery and software from the German parent company. Homag UK is centrally located near East Midlands airport, its
25,000 sq ft facility holds stock machinery and spare parts, and hosts several Open Houses each year. The showroom itself is open year round offering machinery and software demonstrations to prospective buyers.
Having been with the company for 18 years, Simon has a wealth of knowledge and understanding of not only Homag and its comprehensive range of machinery, but also of the UK and European woodworking industries. Utilising a mix of vast experience in the woodworking industry, excellent product knowledge and strong customer relationships, Simon will be positioning the company to build upon the exceptional growth it has experienced over the last few years.
