GA Imports has continued to cement its position in the UK market as one of the largest stockists of laminated panels in the UK, with the introduction of Radiata Clear Pine Panels, and Linden Hardwood Panels.
“We continue to introduce new laminated panel species to our range, and intend to continue to respond to the changing demand in what is a very specialized area of the Joinery Market,” says Guy Atherton, MD of GA Imports.
“The Radiata and Linden panels give us both softwood, and hardwood knot-free panels, for which demand has been growing. These panels give customers an ideal solution when producing high quality painted finishes.
“For many of our competitors, laminated materials are just a small part of their stock offering, for us it is our speciality for 20 years. We are totally focussed on supplying a wide range of high quality laminated panels. To achieve this we have developed long term partnerships with selected suppliers, so we can guarantee consistency, quality and reliability.”
Most of GA Imports suppliers have been involved with them for many years. “When we find a good supplier, we stick with them. This develops strong partnerships that help us though the tough times”, says Geoff Rutter, UK sales manager.

All of the Redwood Pine Laminated Panels, and many of the other products are PEFC or FSC-certificated which guarantees the wood products have come from sustainable sources.
G A Imports is now branding its laminated products Proboard, which it hopes in time will establish a brand that will be synonymous with quality.
