In a move that reinforces its position as one of the UK’s leading panel and timber suppliers, Timbmet has expanded its Kronospan Express melamine faced boards stock holding, while at the same time, adding two new door size laminates – from Greenlam and Egger – to its range.
Kronodesign Trends 2014-15 – from the expanded Kronospan Express range of wood based panels – are now available for fast delivery nationwide from Timbmet. The thirteen new decors are all offered on 18mm MFC with matching ABS edging also available.

Kronospans’ top end Mirror Gloss collection is also now available from Timbmet with 20 durable, scratch-resistant, light and colourfast decors that include 14 colours, four wood designs and two fantasy decors, produced with high quality melamine film for decorative use.
As an alternative to Mirror Gloss, Timbmet offers DecoGloss, a super high gloss acrylic finished board available with matching edgings. Carefully selected grades of polymer ensure DecoGloss has an excellent scratch resistance quality. DecoGloss panels have been tested and approved using PUR hot melt adhesives. It is ideal for use in kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and furniture applications.
New door size laminates
Adding new door size (2150 x 940/950mm) laminates from Greenlam and Egger to Timbmet’s panels range.
Greenlam’s new FSC-certified offer includes 42 decors in HPL (high pressure laminate). Unicore and HD Gloss are an option while the entire range provides antibacterial protection.
Timbmet is the sole UK distributor for Greenlam, which is one of the world largest manufacturers of laminates.
The new door size laminates from Egger, available in 44 UK stock decors – with a further 46 European decors to order – adds to the extensive offer that Timbmet provides as an Egger platinum distributor. Timbmet stock the full UK range of Egger Zoom 18mm MFC, with matching laminate and edging for every decor.
Egger ABS edging for Eurodekor MFC, MDF and Eurolight is colour and texture matched to Egger boards, ensuring a consistent appearance which can be easily fabricated by hand or with an edge banding machine.
