1909 & Metris training is a huge hit with PWS customers

PWS is delighted with the positive feedback from its recent 1909 and Metris training sessions, so muchso that plans are now underway to develop a regular program of training for PWS customers, with a schedule that starts in January 2015.

Recent training has included four dedicated on-site seminars at PWS’ Design Centre as well as sixhighly successful roadshow events in Birmingham, Camberley, Oxford and Scotland. All sessions were well attended, with an average of 20 delegates per day, including designers, fitters and company owners. Numbers were kept manageable in order to effectively demonstrate product to the audience.

Training was led by the PWS design team, on planning and design, backed with practical tips and demonstrations by the workshop manager. In addition there was a useful marketing overview to highlight the latest initiatives to promote the brands and further support PWS’ network of specialist retailers. The program included a mix of presentations and practical demonstrations, with delegates invited to take part with hands-on activities with full kitchen cabinets.

This prompted relevant questions and staff were available before, and after, the sessions for specific one-to-one queries. This hands-on approach proved very popular, with a recurring comment from delegates being the training had reassured them and given them confidence to design 1909 and Metris kitchens, with some customers subsequently fitting displays in their showrooms.

The feedback from those attending the training was so encouraging that the format for 2015 will remain largely the same. It will be brand specific but will additionally include presentations on new product launches, as well extra training on range options and fitting for Kessebohmer. PWS-hosted sessions will take place, as well as 7 regional roadshows across the country, in West Midlands, South West, Central, South East, East Midlands, North West and Scotland.
