Paul Ott and Mayer to feature on Fen UK stand at W14

Fen UK is exhibiting at W14 on stand 8F605 and will be having on show the new Storm edgebander from Paul Ott GmbH. This machine is able to process a ‘zero glue line finish’ with all standard coil materials such as 0.4, 0.8, 1.0, 1.5 and 2mm.

Even laminate and wood strips can be processed up to 20 mm, all with a ‘zero glue line finish’. Fen UK says that there is no need to purchase any expensive and special edging tapes.

Feed speed is said to be an efficient 20m/min with an industry leading finish, that remains consistent and provides no headaches.

Also on the Fen UK stand will be the company’s patented CombiMelt system, as well the impressive AKF trimming module.

The machine is equipped with LCM’s cleaning stations for that perfect finish, straight off the machine. The cleaning fluids manufactured by LCM are available for supply to other machines, too. Fen UK also offers retro-fitting cleaning stations to older machines at very competitive rates.

Elsewhere on Fen UK’s stand, Mayer UK will be showing the new PS80 Premium high precision beamsaw. Mayer says this new saw is up to 30% faster in cutting, compared to the older machines.

Mayer also offers a flexible board storage and loading system to increase efficiency even further by reducing waiting time at the cut-to-size machine.

On demonstration will be Mayer’s solution for quick and easy cut to size planning by nesting the batch of panels required into the most cost effective board size.

This particular solution is ideal for batch one production volumes and allows easy control of production flow without ending up with an unsorted pile of panels after sizing, therefore ensuring top efficiency in production. Tool path remains 4.4 mm, in order to minimise board waste and dust created.

Fen UK looks forward to welcoming visitors to stand 8F605 at W14.
