Leading CAD software specialist for the KBB sector, ArtiCAD, has hosted the first in a series of Tech Workshops for its expanding base of national clients. The first workshop, which was hosted at the company’s new headquarters in Watford, was for a leading bathroom retailer.
Each workshop – which will typically last for about three hours – will be for one national account at a time, and will focus on a different area of technology, tailored to meet the specific needs of the client. External experts and suppliers of relevant third party software will contribute to each session when appropriate.
The first workshop focused on augmented reality, its relevance to the KBB sector, the latest headsets and where it is likely to be going.
Theresa Turner, a director of ArtiCAD says: “Reaction to the first event, which was run by Colin Seaton, our director of national accounts together with members of the design team, was very positive. From discussions with several of our national customers, we could see that there was considerable interest in learning more about various innovative technologies, and where they are heading in the future.
“Areas that are of particular interest, not surprisingly, are online, instore and mobile technologies. Combined with our focus on helping our clients to sell more, and to sell more quickly, we are confident that we will be able to develop a programme of focused, insightful, relevant and timely sessions for our national customers.”
