After 31 years at engineering fastener specialists Jet Press, Andrew Mitchell has been appointed Managing Director following on from Ian Barnes who had spent 25 years with the company and 17 years in the role of MD.
Oliver Guest from Jet Press Holdings saiys of the appointment: “Jet Press has always had a great team of highly skilled people and a track record of successful internal promotions. Andrew’s knowledge and understanding of the business, customers, markets, suppliers and products is second to none and this, along with his strong commercial judgement, puts him in a great position to lead the business forward.”
Andrew has spent most of his time at Jet Press in sales and marketing roles. He gained a Marketing Diploma from Nottingham Trent University in 1995 and since April 2019 he has been executive director, preparing to take on his new role.
