AMS training courses return

Woodworking training courses by Advanced Machinery Services (AMS) are back offering woodworking machinery training courses at its Skeffington, Leicestershire showroom or in a customer’s workshop – of course whilst respecting all the COVID measures and restrictions.

AMS has a long-established reputation for high quality training at affordable prices. The company also has industrial trainers who have extensive experience in writing and delivering courses for a host of UK companies ranging from small businesses with individual needs to large organisations with very specific requirements.

All staff involved with using woodworking equipment in the workplace, must receive some form of woodworking machinery training as a legal requirement. The HSE states that this training “must be refreshed every 3-5 years”.

AMS’ range of courses are currently available on clients’ sites across the UK or at its training school in Skeffington. The AMS team of industrial trainers are amongst the best in the business and all have many years’ experience with a wide range of companies and situations. AMS strongly believes that quality training is not just about getting the “right bit of paper”, it is about safe and efficient workers and workplaces.

AMS director, Stephen McGloin, says: “We are taking all the COVID measures to keep our employees and our customers safe. When the training is in our place, we check their temperature before we start the training, and offer free masks, visors and protection to all our trainers.” He continues: “We have a new, bright modern training facility with brand new equipment that you people can be trained on. We have 42 machines in the training room that are all connected to power and extraction.”

AMS woodworking machinery training courses cater for all members of staff including experienced users and novice-level beginners. In addition, AMS provides courses tailored specifically for managers and supervisors to ensure your staff are using equipment legally and safely.

AMS works in association with training partners and offer courses from basic instruction through to NVQS.

Training course can be booked at any time by using the AMS Training Questionnaire on its website.
