Taking place between 26-29th September 2024, the AES UK Autumn Open House is an event not to be missed, and is dedicated to the UK’s wood-based manufacturers.
This event will combine forces with Hexagon manufacturing intelligence who will use the venue to hold their ‘User General Meeting’ and ‘Woodworking Solutions’ presentations. During the event, the Hexagon team will also be available to demonstrate the latest developments in both Alphacam and Cabinet Vision.
Those attending will see the power and advantages of having the right software driving the right machine to allow streamlined and efficient manufacturing from design to production.
AES will have a broad selection of machines on display and ready for demonstration including the following:
CUTTING – AES Beta PS03 3200 Beamsaw
DRILLING – AES Sirius 950M ATC and AES Go! 1300M ATC
NESTING – AES Flexa Pro 2132, AES Super Nova 2132, AES Extreme Ultra 2132 and AES Extreme Ultra 2132 Nesting Cell with automatic labelling
DOOR PRODUCTION – AES Vega Ultra Evo 1332 complete with horizontal router head.

The machines will be run using programs from both Alphacam and Cabinet Vision and will show advantages such as labelling for part identification and bar code printing for secondary machining processes such as drilling etc.
Visitors will be able to see complete manufacturing solutions from design through to manufacturing for a broad range of sectors within the industry. For furniture makers, Cabinet Vision will demonstrate how manufacturing can go straight from ‘Screen to Machine’.
Industry-leading Alphacam will also be demonstrated, showing the power of optimised nesting and batch processing along with the benefits of automation in programming. There will also be a focus on door production with a presentation of the latest features available from Alphacam.
This event will be the perfect venue to gain a complete manufacturing overview from conception to completion, whether stepping into CNC or if you are already experienced and looking to hone your skills to manufacture complex parts.

Saturday 28th Sept - AES Demonstration Day - Hexagon Drop-in day for demonstration and support (non-scheduled but advisable to RSVP).
Sunday 29th Sept - AES Demonstration Day
AES’ experienced staff will be on hand to discuss machinery requirements and offer advice for the duration of the show. (Advisable to RSVP)
For refreshments, there will be complimentary Barista coffee and sweet treats served from 09:00 – 16:00hrs, followed by complimentary freshly cooked gourmet pizza from 12:00 – 16:00hrs.
