The countdown to the Furniture Component Expo (FCE) has begun, with all signs pointing to 2026 being the biggest year yet for the pioneering event.
Organised by the British Furniture Association (BFA), the expo’s winning mix of insightful seminars, broad networking opportunities and ‘entire supply chain’ approach has seen anticipation for this year’s event ramp up in recent weeks.
More than 70 companies are set to showcase their products and services at the expo, which connects the furniture industry with a network of suppliers and buyers from the UK and overseas.
With a collaborative atmosphere and meaningful activities planned over the two days, FCE helps delegates forge productive partnerships and negotiate successful deals across their supply chains, all under one roof.
FCE is sponsored by BeA Group and Carpenter with Blum UK sponsoring the Innovation Trail and Furniture & Joinery Production sponsoring the seminar theatre and drinks reception.
BFA MD Phil Spademan said: “Indications at this stage are pointing to our biggest year to date for the event, which fills a much-needed gap for the industry.
“This year we are also broadening the scope to include the kitchen and bathroom sector, contract furniture and interiors sector.
“FCE is a fantastic opportunity to connect with businesses across supply chains, discover new products and services and network with like-minded people within the sector.
“The packed seminar programme will offer insight from expert speakers on key topics with some interesting panel discussions and workshops lined up too.
“For delegates looking for the next big idea that could revolutionise their business, the all-new Innovation Trail will shine a spotlight on those with something brand new to share.”
The Innovation Trail is a specially curated showcase of original solutions that are less than 18 months old and have not been seen at the FCE before.
It will feature products that have been selected for demonstrating real innovation that meets industry needs and businesses taking part will be highlighted in the official show floorplan and guide, with floor stickers making it easy for delegates to seek out the latest developments.
The trail is sponsored by Blum UK, with Matt Glanfield from Blum and John Legg, editor of F&JP selecting an overall winner who will receive marketing to the value of £1,500 from the magazine and a Fortnum & Mason hamper.
The BFA’s Future of Furniture Awards will also be presented at FCE, recognising businesses that are blazing a trail across Sustainability, ESG Reporting and Education with one individual named Sustainability Champion.
FCE takes place at Telford International Centre on March 11 and 12. For more information or to register, visit: www.fcexpo.co.uk.
