Issue 2026
Welcome to the preview guide for Furniture Component Expo 2026. As the event prepares for its next edition, it continues to focus on the materials, components and technologies that sit at the heart of furniture manufacturing, yet are often unseen once a product reaches the showroom floor.
Every piece of furniture begins long before it is assembled on the production floor. It starts within – in the components that quietly shape how a product feels, functions and lasts. Beneath every seam and behind every finish, fittings, foams, surfaces and structures influence both aesthetic appeal and long-term performance. FCExpo exists to bring these essential elements into clearer view, offering a place where suppliers and manufacturers can discuss the detail behind finished products.
Since its launch, the event has grown steadily in both size and scope. Each year has seen an increase in exhibitor numbers, with strong representation from across the UK and Europe. Visitors now include a wide cross-section of the industry, from furniture and bedding manufacturers to KBB specialists, joinery firms, designers, procurement teams and production managers. Many attend to review new materials and technologies, while others come to strengthen existing supplier relationships.
This preview provides an early look at what to expect from the 2026 show. Alongside an expanded seminar programme and our new Innovation Trail, visitors will find a broad line-up of exhibitors covering components, hardware, surfaces, timber, upholstery materials, adhesives and manufacturing technology. Together, these elements reflect both the current priorities of the sector and the direction it continues to move in.
