A Leicestershire interiors manufacturer has purchased a wood waste heater from Wood Waste Technology to get the money-saving benefits of waste disposal and heating.

Albert Henry Interiors manufactures traditional and sliding wardrobes, home offices and other freestanding furniture from its headquarters in Ibstock. The workshop could be a cold place to work in the winter months, with the large doors opening for loading and unloading and letting all the cold air in. Whilst the business could use gas heaters on the coldest days to try to warm the workshop, rising energy costs made the heaters very expensive to run.

The company was recommended by similar businesses to investigate the benefits of using a wood waste heater to reduce skip costs and generate free heating, and to speak to Wood Waste Technology for more information.

Managing Director of Wood Waste Technology, Kurt Cockroft visited the premises to undertake a site survey, following which Albert Henry Interiors purchased a WT10 which was installed last year.

General Manager at Albert Henry Interiors, Stuart Lansdowne says: “Wood Waste Technology has a great reputation for producing quality, reliable wood waste heaters, so we had no hesitation purchasing our heater from there. It’s a brilliant investment, as it means we now save a significant amount of money on waste disposal bills, and we can just enjoy the free heating without having to worry about how much it’s costing to warm the workshop!”

Having experienced the benefits of a wood waste heater for Albert Henry Interiors, the company also purchased 2 x WT5 wood waste heaters for accompanying businesses on the site which are part of the same group.

Kurt Cockroft from Wood Waste Technology says: “Much of our business comes from recommendation, so we’re delighted that we were mentioned to Albert Henry Interiors and that the business is benefitting from the investment. We’re also grateful to the group for purchasing two other heaters for the two other businesses on-site, so their teams can experience the benefits of wood waste heaters too.”

Wood Waste Technology offers a full range of wood waste heaters, from small hand-fired units to larger fully automatic systems, and offers site survey and design, as well as manufacture, installation and ongoing maintenance. The company also services all types of wood waste heaters and supplies genuine spares up to 60% cheaper than other suppliers.

In addition, Wood Waste Technology is the UK’s official distributor for Gross Apparatebau GmbH, a German manufacturer of dependable, precision-engineered shredders and briquetters. The company is also a distributor for Putzmaus boiler tube cleaning systems - a powerful but gentle routine maintenance solution that is quick and easy to use, and helps to increase boiler efficiency and lower operating costs.
